Read World Holidays.
Read a story on Raz Kids.
Complete a book report on any book from Raz kids.
Study spelling words I and J
Write five sentences using the new words.

Mathematics

Complete Graph sheet.
Complete drill sheet plus 5.
Complete math problem.


Information on Project has been handed out. Project due on January 14th or sooner:)


Math quiz on graphs this week.
 
Students will need to know the 3 different graphs, bar graph, pictograph and pie graph.
 
They will need to read the graph and compare the results.

-Growing and shrinking pattern. (Increasing or decreasing)
Example: complete the following patterns

-Attributes in a pattern. 
(How the pattern is changing:
 size, shape, colour etc…)
-Pattern core: which part of the pattern repeats?
counting by 10’s, 2’s, 3’s and 5’s

-Recognizing one digit and two digit numbers.
