Read information on coins.

Study spelling words Xx, Yy, Zz and "ight" words. Please refer to homework sheet for complete list.

Write five sentences using the new words.

No summary this week.

Mathematics

Complete math word problem.

Complete money work sheet.

Complete doubles plus one sheet. It should be review work. Memorize those facts.

This week in grade two.....

Language Arts

Read the story The Invisible Alligators on ABRA in the fiction section.

Write a summary of the story. Make sure to include the moral of the story.

Study spelling words Uu, Vv and Ww.

Write five sentences using the new spelling words.

Read Valentine poems.

Bring in a cereal box for Valentine’s Day Cards.

Please bring it in as soon as possible.

Please remember to include cards for all the students if you are making cards.

Classlist will be providied.

Mathematics

Drill sheet. Make certain to time yourself.

Math word problem.

Math money sheet.

You can use the math site on money to create your own

 money work sheets for additional practice.

Language Arts

Read Chapter 4 and 5 of Flat Stanley.  Write a summary for chapter 4 and 5.
You can create the summaries on e-pearl or in the book report duotang.

Study Spelling words Ss and Tt.
Write five sentences using the new spelling words.

Then for the territories: You're Not Nice (Yukon, Northwest Territory and Nunavut)
